Looked like a gargoyle, no wasn't the count. Believe the character is retired now.Harry the monster?Or Grover?When Jim Henson died,He took the voices of half the muppets with him.His son Brian has taken over Kermit's voice,since they sound similar as father and son.But Brian's voice is higher pitched and doesn't have the range of his father's.Frank Oz does Yoda,Miss piggy,and the other half of the muppets and is nearing retirement age.Many of the staff have retired from the show due to it's 39 year run on PBS,and younger performers like Kevin Clash(Elmo and Baby Bear)have stepped in as replacements.Carol Spiney(Big Bird and Oscar) is also nearing retirement age.You don't miss them until your heart senses the emptiness of them not being there.Everytime I see them on TV,I feel like a kid again.Yeah you are right. It is the count.There was a muppet called Gargoyle on the Muppet Show. Is this who you were thinking of?
