This squirrel has been shot by a be-be gun and might have a broken leg. I need to feed but do not want to get bit. HELP ME!Call animal patrol. they will take care of him. DO NOT TOUCH HIM. it might have rabies or you might paralze him! go, go, go!If its still a baby, they usualy dont bite people, and if they do, its not very hard, sometimes they will just get confused as to what food it and what your fingers are.OK first you need to get it too a vet immediatly. Then you need to call a wildlife rehabilitator that specializes in orphaned squirrels. It needs to fed with an oral syringe that you can purchase at wal mart or petsmart. Feed it pedilite or Gerber. Make sure you keep it warm with an electric blanket or an heating pad. I hope this helps you.Baby bottle filled with glucose water. You'll need to get it to a vet soo though. Those wounds can quickly become infected.Put it out of it's misery.you might have rabies, get to a doctor! You should put the squirrel in a cage or something where it wont run from you. Lay the food down and some water don't stay with the squirrel in the same room walk away and check on it in like 5 minutes to see if it ate. Also call a vet so you can take it and get it checked. Hope it gets better =)Finish it off and eat it. Squirrel is very tasty. Next time you decide to shoot a squirrel use a pellet gun, .22 rifle or a .410 shotgun. A BB doesn't have enough knock down power to kill a squirrel with 1 shot every time.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
