Should I apply for a different position at the same company? ?

I really want to work for this company. It seems like I'd be a good fit. I saw a few other positions for this company that I think I can be good for. Should I apply for any of them? It is a small company, about 20 people total. So if I apply, they'll probably remember my name. Will I seem desperate if I apply for them again? And if I do apply, should I mention somewhere that I have already applied and been rejected for another position with them?
Don't mention that you have been rejected before, they will probably have you on file, but why point out a negative. Just apply, and see, maybe it will come up during the interview. Perhaps you didn't get the other job as maybe you were missing a qualification they needed, but that isn't saying you can't do something else.
Personally, I'd risk the embarrassment and apply again. If you don't hear anything, then you will know, but at least you tried, right? I hope you do get another call back though!
