However my understanding of god or whatever you call it does not come from any books or religions. it comes from within me
willing to accept joy, suffering, pain, abuse and still do the best you can to go ahead and live your life with dignity, and extend the same to others , to me has become my god
why do religious people dislike this discription of god?
I feel that I am spiritual and also proud on religion but at the same time I know that God is belongs to all religion and everyone, so I also respect whether they are religious or atheist.
Anyway that's great, I appreciate your thoughts and strength,
I'm not so sure what you're getting at with the rest of your question, though.
It does this by making us link experience & memories together and then we reach a conclusion, because we have no actual proof or solid firm truth our minds will accept what our findings are.
So its in a sense creating some control over the worldly problems, by narrowing down what the cause and effects are.
Hope that answers your question... but please this is just an opinion not a reflection.
"In some respects, science has far surpassed religion in delivering awe. How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant. God must be even greater than we dreamed! ? Instead they say, No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.
really? because going by the last few question you posted, i would say you are just a plain *****
Oh and extremely unintelligent, ugly, morose, inbred, if only the winter cold had killed you.
