Are guys embarrassed to carry COACH wallets?

My boyfriend is very clean cut - was an athlete in college, is still athletic, and has a clean athletic/preppy sense of style. I wanted to get him a designer wallet for xmas but the closest "designer" one I found in the style he likes is at COACH. I know girls love it, but is this a good brand to get for a guy?? I saw a similar wallet at Nordstrom with a brand name I had never heard of - would it be better to go with the brand I know and trust, or one I've never heard of so as to not make him feel obligated to carry something he's embarrassed of?

Just don't give him a flashy one; that has the logo all over it. A simple one like this might do the trick:

It has the brandname on it; but its discreet so its not flashy.

I'm not sure if these brands carry wallets, but try them out anyway: Element, Billabong, Quiksilver, Armani, American Eagle, etc... Just get him a name brand simple leather wallet. Anything with flashy logos or prints will make any guy nervous to wear it. Especially an athelitic prep like your boyfriend. Keep it simple.usually coach is more for the female audience, so i don't think he'd like that so much.
While Louis Vuitton and Gucci make wonderful wallets for men any guy wouldn't be ashamed of having :)
And if your on a budget, go look at plain leather wallets from billabong, or canvas/Leather material wallets at AE
